The Greek tenor and actor Christos Stasinopoulos was born in Athens.
He studied acting at the Drama Schools of Piraeus Association and Evgenia Hatzikou. He made his acting debut with the Seventh Theatre Company. He also joined other groups and participated in various TV and radio productions. He starred in Lefteris Chrysochoos's shortfilm "Heralds of the Chimera" which participated in the International Shortfilm Festival in Drama, Greece and the Munich International Festival of Film Schools.
He started his vocal studies at the Greek National Conservatory with Georgia Georgilopoulou, continued in Stockholm with the soprano Ulla Blom and completed in Athens at the Hellenic Conservatory with the tenor Pavlos Raptis, graduating summa cum laude, being also awarded an excellence prize. In addition, he participated in several oratorio, Lied and chamber music interpretation master classes with Paul von Schilawsky, the eminent pianist and professor of the Mozarteum University Salzburg. Moreover, he studied advanced music theory and harmony with Irini Archavli at the Hellenic Conservatory.
Mainly a concert singer and a recitalist with a repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to contemporary music, he has given numerous recitals and participated in concerts in Greece including the Athens Festival events at the Mansion of the Duchess of Plaisance, the Parnassos Concert Hall, the Athenaeum International Cultural Centre, the Athens Municipality Cultural Centre, the German Church Christus Kirche in Athens, the Patmion Cultural Centre on Patmos island, the Apollo Theatre in Hermoupolis on Syros island, inter alia, in Sweden at the Stockholm Music Museum, the Artists’ Club (Konstnärsklubb), the Oscars Theatre, the churches of All Saints (Allhelgonakyrkan), St. Paul, Engelbrektskyrkan, Enebykyrkan and the Västerås Art Museum, in Denmark at the Church of Our Lady (Vor Frue Kirke) in Aalborg and in Germany at the the Sacred Heart Church (Herz Jesu Kirche) and the All Saints Anglican Church in Köln, among others.
He made his opera debut performing the role of the Vizier in Nikos Mamangakis’s “Opera of Shadows” at Megaron, the Athens Concert Hall. He also joined the Greek National Opera where he performed the tenor part in "Orpheus" by the Greek contemporary composer Dimitris Sykias and the role of the Soldier in "The Emperor of Atlantis" (Der Kaiser von Atlantis) by Viktor Ullmann.
As a voice actor he was chosen by the Walt Disney Company to perform the title role in “Aladdin”, in the Greek version of the very successful animated film, as well as in its two sequels “The Return of Jaffar” and “Aladdin and the King of Thieves” and the long running TV series. Besides “Aladdin” he performed the parts of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum in Disney’s classic “Alice in Wonderland”.
Warner Bros chose him to perform the role of Cornelius in the Greek version of Don Bluth's animated film “Thumbelina” and the role of Hubbie in “The Pebble and the Penguin”.

Ο τενόρος κι ηθοποιός Χρήστος Στασινόπουλος γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα.
Σπούδασε θέατρο στις Δραματικές Σχολές του Πειραϊκού Συνδέσμου και της Ευγενίας Χατζίκου. Ως ηθοποιός υπήρξε μέλος του Έβδομου Θεάτρου. Εμφανίστηκε και μ’ άλλες ομάδες, συμμετέχοντας παράλληλα και σε τηλεοπτικές και ραδιοφωνικές παραγωγές. Πρωταγωνίστησε στην ταινία μικρού μήκους του Λευτέρη Χρυσοχόου "Κήρυκες της Χίμαιρας", η οποία διαγωνίστηκε στο Φεστιβάλ Ταινιών Μικρού Μήκους της Δράμας και στο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογραφικών Σχολών του Μονάχου.
Ξεκίνησε τις μουσικές του σπουδές στο Εθνικό Ωδείο με τη Γωγώ Γεωργιλοπούλου, συνέχισε στη Στοκχόλμη με τη σοπράνο Ulla Blom κι ολοκλήρωσε στην Αθήνα στο Ελληνικό Ωδείο με τον τενόρο Παύλο Ράπτη, παίρνοντας Δίπλωμα Μονωδίας με Άριστα Παμψηφεί και Βραβείο εξαιρετικής επίδοσης. Μελέτησε την ερμηνεία του ορατόριου, του Lied και της μουσικής δωματίου σε master classes του Paul von Schilawsky, διακεκριμένου πιανίστα και καθηγητή του Πανεπιστημίου Mozarteum του Salzburg. Σπούδασε ακόμα ανώτερα θεωρητικά μουσικής στο Ελληνικό Ωδείο με την Ειρήνη Αρχαύλη, παίρνοντας Πτυχίο Αρμονίας με Άριστα Παμψηφεί.
Έχει δώσει πολυάριθμα ρεσιτάλ και συμμετάσχει σε συναυλίες μουσικής δωματίου στην Ελλάδα στις εκδηλώσεις του Φεστιβάλ Αθηνών στο Μέγαρο Δουκίσσης Πλακεντίας, την Αίθουσα Παρνασσός, το Διεθνές Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο Athenaeum, το Πνευματικό Κέντρο του Δήμου Αθηναίων, τη Γερμανική Εκκλησία Christus Kirche, το Πάτμιον Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο του Δήμου Πάτμου, το Θέατρο Απόλλων της Σύρου κ.α. και στη Σουηδία στο Μουσείο Μουσικής της Στοκχόλμης, τη Λέσχη Καλλιτεχνών Konstnärsklubb, το θέατρο Oscars, τις εκκλησίες Allhelgonakyrkan, St. Paulskyrkan, Enebykyrkan, Engelbrektskyrkan, το Μέγαρο Solborg και το Μουσείο Τέχνης της πόλης Västerås, στη Δανία στην εκκλησία Vor Frue Kirke στο Aalborg και στη Γερμανία στις εκκλησίες Herz Jesu Kirche και All Saints Anglican Church στην Κολωνία, μεταξύ άλλων.
Στην όπερα έκανε το ντεμπούτο του με τον ρόλο του Βεζύρη στην “Όπερα των Σκιών” του Νίκου Μαμαγκάκη στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών. Συνεργάστηκε με την Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή στην Πειραματική Σκηνή ερμηνεύοντας το μέρος του τενόρου στον “Ορφέα: μια συμφωνία δωματίου με δρώσες φωνές” του Δημήτρη Συκιά και τον ρόλο του Στρατιώτη στον “Αυτοκράτορα της Ατλαντίδας” του Viktor Ullmann.
Η Walt Disney τον επέλεξε να ερμηνεύσει τον ρόλο του “Αλαντίν” στην ελληνική μεταγλώττιση της ομότιτλης κινηματογραφικής ταινίας κινουμένων σχεδίων, καθώς και στις δύο συνέχειές της “Η επιστροφή του Τζαφάρ” και “Ο Αλαντίν κι ο Βασιλιάς των Κλεφτών”, όπως και στην τηλεοπτική σειρά διαρκείας. Δάνεισε ακόμα τη φωνή του στους ρόλους των Tweedle Dee και Tweedle Dum στη μεταγλώττιση της κλασσικής ταινίας κινουμένων σχεδίων της Disney “Η Αλίκη στη Χώρα των Θαυμάτων”.
Παράλληλα, η Warner τον επέλεξε για τους ρόλους του Κορνήλιου στην ελληνική μεταγλώττιση της ταινίας κινουμένων σχεδίων του Don Bluth “Τοσοδούλα” (Thumbelina) και του Χιούμπι στο “Τυχερό Πετράδι” (The Pebble and the Penguin).
